I’ve just returned from a fortnight in the winter sunshine in Lanzarote, Canary Islands and although only under a little under 4 hours flying time from the UK the difference in temperature and weather is amazing. With temperatures in the low to mid 70’s the island is a real hot spot for photographic opportunities so suitably attired in shorts and trainers I set about exploring the area local to where I was staying.
I’d noticed that the sunsets were really amazing and thankfully I had brought a selection of my cheap and cheerful graduated neutral density filters with me so decided to experiment to see what, if any, difference they made to my images as the light levels changed with the setting sun. I must say that I was really impressed with their performance in bringing out the details of the sky and equalising exposure levels across the whole of the image.
I purchased my Kood P System filters from Premier Ink https://www.premier-ink.co.uk and was pleasantly surprised at the price.
